Louisville—Western Recorder columnist Diana Davis’ most recent book, “6 Simple Steps: Find Contentment and Joy as a Ministry Wife,” was released this month.

“6 Simple Steps” offers tips, advice and stories on being a ministry wife and was published by New Hope Publishers. In it, Davis, whose “Fresh Ideas” column appears frequently in the Western Recorder, relies on her more than 30 years of experience as a minister’s wife to provide insight.

“As I’ve observed and listened to ministry wives across the country, God inspired me to write a book of encouragement and challenge for those important leaders. This is it,” Davis said.

The book is described as a “must read for women whose husbands are in ministry positions—and any woman who wants to maximize her influence in the kingdom,” by Dorothy Patterson, wife of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary President Paige Patterson. Additionally, the book received recommendations from other distinguished ministry wives, such as Mary Mohler, Lynette Ezell and Ann Iorg.

Davis, who lives in Pensacola, Fla., with her husband Stephen, has published four additional books. (WR)
