SHELBYVILLE–Kentucky Changers started their summer projects off with 215 students and adult volunteers in Shelbyville. The group spent June 10-16 working on home repairs and sharing the love of Christ.
The week saw 17 building projects completed throughout the community. The students and their volunteers built decks and ramps, did paint jobs and worked on other exterior maintenance projects through the course of the week.
At night, they met for worship. Thirty-two decisions were made for Christ, including rededications, calls to ministry and professions of faith. Twenty-seven churches participated.
June 17-23 was spent in Harrodsburg with 162 in attendance. The last two projects for the summer are in Albany (July 1-7) and Greensburg (July 8-15) with over 450 students and volunteers expected.
